“Proper care does not mean a complicated process, but a few good habits that preserve the appearance, fullness and naturalness.”
Gentle maintenance preserves softness, shape and quality
In order for the wig to retain its beautiful appearance, softness and quality as long as possible, it is necessary to wash and maintain it carefully and properly.
Untangling
Before washing, the hair should be slightly detangled with your fingers, and then gently combed with a brush with wide teeth.
Cold water and shampoo
Soak the wig in cold water and add a suitable wig shampoo. Let it sit for a few minutes.
Conditioner properly
Apply the mask or conditioner only to the middle and ends of your hair, never to the wig net.
Natural drying
Remove excess water by patting it with a towel and leave the wig to dry naturally, at room temperature.
Before washing, the hair should be slightly detangled with your fingers, and then gently combed with a brush with wide teeth. In this way, the possibility of additional tangling and hair damage is reduced.
Then, soak the wig in cold water and add a suitable wig shampoo. Leave it for a few minutes to gently remove dirt and product residue from the hair. Then rinse the wig thoroughly with cold water.
After washing, you can apply a mask or conditioner, but only to the middle and ends of the hair, approximately halfway down. The conditioner should never come into contact with the wig's mesh, as this can affect its structure and durability. Leave it on for a few minutes, then rinse again with cold water.
Remove excess water gently, without twisting or squeezing the hair roughly. Then place the wig in a towel and gently pat to remove any remaining moisture. Then leave it to dry naturally at room temperature.
It is very important not to blow dry the wig with hot air, as the heat can damage the hair. Unlike natural hair that is connected to the scalp, the wig does not receive nutrients and natural regeneration, so it requires additional careful maintenance.

Basic guidelines for proper hair placement
Correct placement and maintenance of hair is very important so that wigs, toppers, inserts and tails look natural, tidy and retain their quality for a long time. Regardless of whether you wear natural hair or high-quality futura fiber, proper care extends the life and preserves the beauty of each model.
On this page, we provide basic guidelines on how to set your hair correctly and how to maintain it at home.
Safe, comfortable and as natural as possible
The method of installation depends on whether it is a wig, topper, ponytail or other hair accessories.
Fitting the wig
Before putting on a wig, you need to prepare your hair so that it is as straight as possible and neatly attached to your head. For people with longer hair, it is recommended to lightly tie it up or distribute it evenly under the wig cap.
The wig is then carefully placed from the front of the head to the back, so that it fits properly against the natural hairline. It is then adjusted using internal combs, bands or elastics, depending on the model. It is important that the wig is not too tight, but not too loose.
With lace models, special attention is paid to the front part so that the transition looks as natural as possible. A wig can be worn for everyday occasions, special events or as a long-term solution for people who want extra security and a beautiful look.
Installing the topper
The topper is placed on the upper part of the head, most often in the zone where it is necessary to add volume or cover thinning hair. Before applying, the hair is combed and prepared so that the topper lays down evenly.
The model is then attached using clips that gently hook into the natural hair. After installation, your own hair and topper can be styled together to get the most natural result. Toppers are practical because they quickly change the look, give fullness and can be easily removed and repositioned.
Installing the tail and inserts
Ponytails are one of the fastest solutions for changing your hairstyle. Most often, one's own hair is first tied into a tail or bun, and then the additional tail is attached using a comb, tape or wrapping the strand around the base of the tail, depending on the model.
Once attached, the ponytail can be further shaped to look as natural and neat as possible. This style is ideal for everyday use, formal occasions, and moments when you want a quick, yet effective look.
Inserts are placed depending on the type of model. Clip-in inserts are very simply attached with clips to your own hair, while other types are professionally installed. With clip-in models, it is important to distribute the parts evenly so that the hair looks natural and has a nice volume.
After setting, the hair can be gently combed and styled according to the desired style.
Careful approach prolongs beauty and durability
Combing
Hair should be combed gently, without sudden movements. It is best to use a brush or comb designed for wigs and extensions, and always start from the tips upwards. In this way, the possibility of tangling and breakage of the hairs is reduced.
For wavy and curly hair, especially careful combing is recommended to preserve the shape of the hairstyle.
For certain types of hair and fibers, excessive temperatures should be avoided. That is why it is always important to follow the recommendations for a specific model. Proper drying helps hair retain its shape and quality.
Shaping and styling
When styling your hair, it's important to use the right products and appliances. Not all models are designed for high temperatures, so before ironing, curling, or blow-drying, you should check what's allowed.
Natural hair offers greater styling options, while synthetic and futuristic styles require a moderate and careful approach. Too much heat and heavy products can affect the appearance and durability of the hair.
Saving
When the hair is not being worn, proper storage is recommended. Wigs are best stored on a stand or in protective packaging to maintain their shape. Ponytails, toppers, and hairpieces should be stored neatly in a dry, clean place, away from direct sunlight, moisture, and heat.
Proper care reduces tangles and helps the hair to look tidy even after a long time.
A few good habits make a big difference
- For a longer hair life, gentle handling, regular maintenance and avoidance of aggressive products are recommended.
- Hair will stay beautiful longer if it is not washed too often, if it is combed carefully and if it is used in accordance with the recommendations for a specific model.
- Proper care does not mean a complicated process, but a few good habits that preserve the appearance, fullness, and naturalness.
Individual advice is often the best choice
If you are not sure how to properly set or maintain the model you are wearing, it is important to get accurate instructions according to the type of hair and the way it is made. Each model has its own specifics, so individual advice is often the best way to keep hair beautiful and functional for as long as possible.
At Eynna Hair, we believe that proper styling and maintenance make a big difference in everyday wear. That's why we provide our clients with support, advice and guidance so that each model looks as natural, tidy and long-lasting as possible.
